Overview
This Kreature has 24 body segments and 48 legs – 50 if one also counts the first pair on its head, called forcipules, which inject deadly venom to incapacitate its prey. It abhors the light and relies exclusively on its sense of touch and smell to navigate. Its back is protected with venomous spines that can kill a person within five minutes, and it secretes cyanide from pores in its body. Its spines can retract so it can hide itself underneath rocks and debris.
For as voracious and successful as they are it’s always nice to see them get presented as monsters.
