Overview
This Kreature spends most of its time buried underground, absorbing nutrients from tree roots through its talons. If it is disturbed, it will pop out and run around at high speed, launching globules of gelatinous red goop from its cap. These “splatter bombs” burst upon impact, scalding the enemy with burning hot fluid and turning the ground into a slick, slippery mess, hindering pursuit. Feral specimens parasitizing trees alongside roads can prove to be an extremely dangerous nuisance.
Another solid fungus monster. You’re really delivering some nice fungi kreatures in your series. Unfortunate that this one can cause serious damage on roads though. xp
