Overview
This Kreature's has incredible vision, able to see through walls, and into the infrared and ultraviolet spectrums. However, because it has only a single eye, it has poor depth perception. It generally keeps to itself and though it mostly feeds on leaves and stems, it does supplement its diet with meat on occasion. Some individuals have been known to develop a taste for human flesh.
He’s just got that look like “Are you gonna finish those french fries?”
You know what that face reminds me of? A finger. Like… when you’re bored in class and you just wave your hands around and pretend they’re a bunch of little alien heads with big, singular eyes and wide, toothless mouths…. I’m not the only one who’s done that, right?
The Gabara-like build, PopEye arms and dorsal spines all do a good job of making sure it keeps the “scaly ogre” motif without actually looking humanoid. The little elf ears are just that final touch that makes it *really* freaky to look at.
Redclops is on my list of most creepy kreatures in the archive. The blank stare from that huge single eye is just nerve wracking… I don’t see this one roaring, hissing, or groaning when it decides to chase after you like an Urangu or Foddox.
Instead you’d just hear those heavy thudding footsteps… Then next thing you know, you’re suddenly lifted up and one of your arms gets ripped off. You’re screaming in agony while the Redclops just slowly chews on your arm and just continue to give you that blank almost bored stare. Creepy stuff….
