Overview
This eusocial Kreature is designed for point-defence and ambush against infantry. It is armed with over-sized fangs dripping with venom and protected by a hard exoskeleton. It spins a series of webs which act as trip-wires; when its prey comes into contact with the web, the last thing the hapless victim hears is a cacophony of rattling, skeletal limbs as the colony swarms over them and closes in for the kill.
As far as spider monsters go, the Skullatrax is arguably one of the most original ones I’ve seen. The small cracks on the exoskeleton here are a subtle yet really good added touch. 😀
