Chapter 04 begins! After the title page for Chapter 03 didn’t turn out as well as I wanted it to, I tried to make up for it with this one. Textless version can be seen in the art gallery. I intended to use the last two weeks to get a head start on this chapter – that’s what all the filler was for – but because I’m a perpetual fuckup I’m once again back to rushing to meet deadlines. Page 1-4 should be up by Tuesday.
Sigh.
1:30 am? Well, okay, it is technically Tuesday, might as well post this right now! Between all the scales on Dennis’ Scuthon and that establishing panel of the practice arena this page was a pain in the ass to draw. Ben better watch out, Dennis is fighting to impress his love! I’ve been both anticipating and dreading the upcoming battle scene. It’ll be the longest one I’ve drawn so far.
And we’re finally back! Sorry about the long hiatus. I won’t beleaguer my readers with sordid tales about my personal life; I’ll just say that the past few months have been pretty rough on me. Anxiety/depression are the ultimate motivation killers. If anything this stresses the importance of creating a buffer, which I’m hoping to do after I finish Chapter 04. Anyway, enjoy the battle!
The battle continues! Sorry this took so long, I wasn’t satisfied with the initial panel layout for this page so I had to start over from scratch. On top of that I’ve gotten rusty thanks to my recent inactivity. I actually finished drawing this a few days ago, I just thought I’d hang onto it until Tuesday.

GhuuuuUUUHHH this friggin page. I wasn’t satisfied with how I initially thumbnailed it so I reworked it and then sat on it and reworked it again and got frustrated and asdghgfdgh. I got a surge of energy a few days ago and finally finished it. Anyway, enjoy!
